End of year reflection 2016

What im proud of
I am proud of joining PALS and playing with little kids. If you don't know what PALS is well it's something when a group of 4/3 get together and they think of a game and then they play it with little kids.
I an proud of this because it has taught me what little kids like to play.

I hope to see you 2017 and those who are moving from Mamaku to Totara I wish you good luck

Naughty or nice 

This week I have been working on something to show Santa that I should be on the good list. I think. Here is what I did. First I had to think of what list I should be on (I thought I should be on the nice list)  after that you had to write a good introduction and then 3 reasons of why we should be on the nice list. then a conclusion and the transitions of Christmas setting up. This week for maths we have been working on Co-ordinates and we did Christmas ones. We had to make a reindeer. The black penciled spots are there because I messed up. Here is my one.

W.A.L.T: To not use the real song of 12 days of Christmas and then make our own version. This week for writing we have been doing some Christmas work and we had 2 choices you could pick persuade why we should be on the good list or we could make our own version of 12 days if Christmas. I picked make your own 12 days of Christmas and we were aloud to have a buddy my buddy was Dylan. Here is what we did. First we made a google drawing and then we had to star thinking about what it could be so me and Dylan chose some here they are and also here is our finished product.

This week for topic we have been doing some water safety activities and I did the environment task. So here is what the environment task is: It is when you choose a place like I chose a beach and then you have to explain how you could keep safe around that place. Here is my DLO.

Maths Reflection T4 W2

This week for maths we did position and orientation. In this we had buddies, mine were Ella and Kaede. Here is what I did. So first we got our buddies then we had to make a compass with 16 points. The compass was very hard because I didn't know the 16 points. I think that we have done great. Here is my one.

Writing T4 W2

This week for writing we did explanations on a special place for our family. I think I have done great at this. Next time I need to make it with lots of punctuation. So here is what I did. First we had to think of a place, mine was Greymouth because I have lived here for my whole life. Then we had to write about it and here is some of mine.

My family love Greymouth because me and my brother were born here and my mum and dad loved that so much that’s why they think it is a special place. My grandma and granddad live here and also my other grandpa died here so this  why Greymouth is special to me and my family.
