Reading and writing reflection T3 W8

Reading

This week for reading we have been doing some fluency and punctuation and we had to present it anyway we wanted and we had a buddy my buddy was James and we presented it by using a google slide because all the other sites we tried using we didn't know how to use the sites so we just used a slide. so here it is 

Writing (Part 1)

This week for writing we have been doing some work on Mummies and we had one site for it here the site is SITE! click embalming or wrapping to see more about that topic. and we had a group of four my buddies were Kaleb, Felix ,Isaiah and Alex (ME) and then we got parts me and Isaiah got the embalming part and Kaleb and Felix got the wrapping part. But that is part one so here part one is. 

Writing (Part 2)

So this is part 2 of my Mummies adventure. For this part we had to pick a buddy my buddy was Morgan After we had a buddy we had to pick 2 extra Mummie parts we picked opening mouth tool and nut then we had to use a site to find this SITE! click the Mummies to find out the part see if you can find the opening mouth tool and the nut comment below this post  if you do. so then we had to find out information about the rest of the parts of the Mummies. The parts are Canopic jars, Scarab, Collar and Linen here is my one.

This week we have been doing some explanations we had to do one about a house hold machine I did mine on a toaster. So this is what I did. I had to choose a topic like a toaster then we had to do an introduction. Then we did the parts of it and how they work then I had to do a conclusion here is my one.

Reading

This week for reading we have been doing some explanation burgers which is a burger that has all the things we need for a good explanation this is what we did. We got a buddy my buddy was Rikki-Lee then we had to read a book called fish drive and then we had to find out what a fish drive was so when we found out we had to fill in the burger. Writing

This week for writing we have been doing an explanation on a house hold machine we haven't finished them so I will show you my intro. This is what we did we had to choose a house hold machine that we know lots about like for me I did a toaster and here is my one.

A toaster is an electrical device that turns bread into toast.  

A toaster can be any color but mostly silver or white. A toaster has a lever, power cord, 2 areas to put toast in, buttons, heat things. You use a toaster to turn bread into colored bread that is called toast and it is also hot.

For reading this week we did punctuation and we had to tell what the punctuation is used for. Here are some kinds of punctuation ? , . : ; ' ¨ ! {} [] <> /. there is lots of kinds of punctuation. For this piece of work we had to highlight the piece of punctuation red so I will show you what I mean here is my one. Next step learning my next step learning is to know more kinds of punctuation

For this weeks maths we have been doing our modeling book.  If you don´t know what our modeling book is, it is where our teacher can check our work we are doing for this week. We had to see what we could divide by a fraction. I have only done one because I have been working on khan academy lots. Next step learning is to do my work a bit faster and do more of it.
