Literacy

This week for literacy I have been doing some chapter chat this week for chapter chat I did a Halloween costume for august the boy in our book  he is a boy with a thing that makes his face look weird I feel bad for him anyway WALT: Make a costume or 2 Here it is 

PE
this week for PE we have been working on striking and fielding when we have had 1 person having a bat and a cone with a ball on it and they had to try get it through the mini gates that we made and then there was a few people Fielding  the gates here are some photos

Literacy
This week For Word Work the whole class had to do word of the week the word was Miscellaneous and what we had to do is make as many words as we can out of the one word Miscellaneous So here it is 


Maths
This week for maths I have been doing some maths word questions I Have not finished this yet because it is pretty long Here is what we had to do First read through the info and then just start using maths skills to work it out and Show your working out Here it is.

Literacy

This week for Chapter Chat we have been doing a Usain bolt research yes we Me Ry and Trent This was a fun thing to do because I love to research things WALT: To research Usain Bolt and put your info into a poster. Well.. we did it in a google slide using google drive go check it out. Here it is 

Math's week
This week it has been math's week I loved math's week Because we got to do a westamaths challenge which was when we had teams and then we had to do math's problems and then run them up to the judge and then get them checked. We also did a Numberthon which was when we got a math's sheet and then we had to fill it out and see how many you got. I have loved math's week I hope you get a chance to do it

Literacy


For Literacy I completed a Britten Inference on Peter Blake. I liked doing this because I got to put my knowledge about him together and then put it in a drawing using google drive. anyway My WALT: is List 5 things that you have inferred from the text - these are things that the text hasn’t directly told you but things that you have assumed or think may have occurred from what you have read. Maths

This week for maths I have been doing some Fractions Here is a small paragraph about it

Literacy
This week for Literacy I have been doing a map of some mines in NZ and I loved this it was so fun I worked with Trent Ry and Nicky. Here it is

Word work

This week for word work I have been doing a letter to Bat Man. Here is what I did. First we had to copy our spelling words into our spelling words sheet. Then we had to choose a super hero I chose Bat Man. After that we had to write a letter to the super her Bat Man. Here is my finished work. 

Writing

This week for writing I have been doing a compare and contrast about Myths and Legends. Here is what I did. First I made the text boxes smaller and then inserted 2 more so I can write and example. After I did the text boxes I changed the font size to 18. Once I had changed the font size I Started filling in what myths and legends are. Then after I had done that I filled in some examples of Myths and legends. WALT: To use my Knowledge about Myths and Legends and put it into a google drawing. Here is my work.

End of term 2 Reflection

the new improved mamaku hub!
this week we have been waiting to get into the new improved hub and on Thursday our dreams came true and we are now in the new hub we have got some awesome soft bean bags some white board tables a jelly bean table some nice cool carpet and now we have got some awesome teachers we so happy and we are going to respect the new class we have run over some stuff we need to keep doing 

PrEP 
this term we have been doing some PrEP for PrEP I was in room 6 and that was some fun stuff I made these frogs they had a marble and a fly was attached to it and the frogs could eat it 

Reading
this term I have had 2 goals but then near the end of the term I changed group it was a bit hard to get a new topic to be working on but I  have done OK 

Writing
this term I have been doing some vocab and i have made it through A lot I have stayed in the same group the whole term and I like it but I still need to work on stuff

Maths 
this week for maths I have been doing lots of maths but I still need to work on it because I need lots of help for it so I will have to work on it next term

Typing
this week I have done my final typing speed test for the term but I am ready for typing next term I have been practicing for 2 terms bring the typing on

goals
this week i have decided some goals i am going to work on here they are 
- Reading to find the literacy elements and solve the problem
- Writing to use good vocab 
-maths to use mult and div to solve the problem 
- Typing to beat miss panthers high score 
- Art to use pastels and blend the colors 
- Behavior to sit quiet on the mat and not get distracted 
- Other stuff to use my Chromebook wisely 

next term
wow the term is finished I am ready for next term I can handle the learning and I am excited this is going to be so fun bring the term on
