week 6 reflection term 2

Maths for maths we did a padlet with what  we thought of what we are doing for maths like does it make sense in it hard and stuff like that WALT:use multiplication knowledge and strategy to solve problems and we also did a sheet here is my one
A Little Bit More/A Little Bit Less

Exercise 1 What to do
Use the information given to you to derive the answer to a similar problem.
1) If 9 × 20 = 180 what is 9 × 21 =189
2) If 8 × 30 = 240 what is 8 × 31 =248
3) If 4 × 40 = 160 what is 4 × 42 = 168
4) If 5 × 50 = 250 what is 5 × 51 =260
5) If 3 × 60 = 180 what is 3 x 62 =186
6) If 2 × 70 = 140 what is 2 × 73 = 146
7) If 4 × 80 = 320 what is 4 × 82 = 168
8) If 2 × 90 = 180 what is 2 × 94 =188

Exercise 2 What to do
Use the information given to you to derive the answer to a similar problem.

1) If 9 × 20 = 180 what is 9 × 19=171
2) If 8 × 30 = 240 what is 8 × 29=232
3) If 7 × 40 = 280 what is 7 × 39=651
4) If 5 × 50 = 250 what is 5 × 49 245
5) If 3 × 60 = 180 what is 3 × 58  174
6) If 2 × 70 = 140 what is 2 × 67  =137
7) If 4 × 80 = 320 what is 4 × 78  =312

8) If 2 × 90 = 180 what is 2 × 86 =172

Literacy for literacy we did 5Ws here is what we did we went onto kiwi kids news and found a article we liked and then we copied it and then we answer questions here is our WALT:recount events in news paper style here is my one

  1. Hi Alex, this is a good reflection to read. There is only one problem that is that there is not that much punctuation in so you can't tell where to stop in the blurbs about what you have learnt and done, so if you have enough time to do it! Thanks Liam and Jordan.

  3. Hi Alex I liked your train it was very descriptive. On your maths for questions number 4 wasn't correct maybe you could go and fix it up soon

  4. Hi Alex,
You are doing so well with your multiplication! Next time I would like to know how you work these out, remember to include this in your reflection.
